Our Team

PPeggy Stippleeggy keeps the TransAdvantage team in line on a daily basis, but she does it with a smile. With strengths in a variety of areas, Peggy continuously adds new talents and abilities to her job description as Administrative Assistant. She provides  support on a daily basis to the entire team and is willing to assist on any project (and never forgets an employee's birthday!). When Peggy isn't managing schedules at the office, she is coordinating schedules at home for the family and cheering for her son on the sidelines of his basketball games.
Don StippleDonald B. Springer joins TransAdvantage in the distinguished role of a Senior Consultant and close associate. Though less engaged in day-to-day operations since his retirement as President & CEO of Phoenix Contact, Inc., he continues to make his vast market experience and exceptional business acumen, along with his extensive network of industry contacts available to our domestic and international clients. He serves on select boards and is available to consult with top management of major industrial automation companies, who often cherish his objective advice which emanates from decades of solving challenging issues with both the German (parent) organization and the North American (subsidiary’s) perspective, and the background of having built one of the most successful US operations of a global industry leader and one of Germany’s “hidden champions” from scratch.

A graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, Don's business career began at the 3M Corporation in Washington, DC, and subsequently joined AMP lnc., where he held numerous sales and marketing positions including Marketing Director. In that capacity he was responsible for leading the company into many new innovative and high technology products and markets.

In 1981he founded the US operations of Phoenix Contact Inc. Under his exceptional leadership, the company grew from the initial 5 employees to the undisputed market leader for connectivity solutions in North America with more than 650 associates, sales in well in the 9-digits and a continental network of sales operations. The modest 7,000 sq. ft. of rented office space has grown to an impressive 450,000 sq. ft. office, manufacturing and warehouse campus in Harrisburg, PA, which also incorporates Phoenix Contact Manufacturing, Inc., the US production arm established under Don’s governance. Few other German Mittelstand companies can point to a comparable success story - largely founded on trust and mutual respect on both sides of the Atlantic, the intricate understanding of cultural strengths, and the ability to blend of the unique values of exceptional German technology with American creativity, drive and innovative approaches to revolutionize an antiquated market.

Since his retirement, Don has been very active in numerous business consulting and advisory roles, and his ongoing activities in the business community, the automation and electric/electronic industry, as well as his charitable and philanthropic involvements are too numerous to list here. He enjoys the prospect of sharing his extensive knowledge, staying very engaged by making a significant difference for many aspiring entities.
