Thomas specializes in working with global manufacturers of industrial automation, controls and related products. Engaged in numerous aspects of our service portfolio, he primarily leads the Personnel & Human Resources activities of TransAdvantage. While coordinating the respective initiatives of our partners and associates on a project-by-project basis, Thomas is personally engaged in the recruitment of mid- and high-level professional resources on behalf of our clients.Having completed more than one-hundred successful searches, he has acquired an exceptional reputation in the industry that is based on two principle philosophies: Identifying the best possible talent based on the person’s demonstrated and documented skills, traits and ability to commit, and effectively enticing them to join our client’s organization for the right reasons, essentially establishing a long term, win-win relationship for the benefit of both parties. He skillfully locates, attracts and places the best available talent according to our clients’ specific needs. Thomas utilizes over two decades of first hand industry experience when filling domestic and international positions within the entire sales and marketing hierarchy. He has been associated with our affiliate, The Mattran Group, since June 2000 and with TransAdvantage since its inception..
Thomas' education began at Marmion Military Academy in Aurora, IL, with a subsequent BA degree from Marquette University. He holds dual (US and Swiss) citizenship and is bilingual in English and German. Prior to joining TransAdvantage and The Mattran Group, Thomas held a number of successively expanding leadership roles in the sales and marketing management of a major German-based manufacturer of industrial automation products in the US, Germany, Austria and Hungary for ,ore than 10 years.. He combines a total of almost 25 years in international business experience.
Thomas' success as a senior consultant to our trans-Atlantic clientele can be attributed to his technical background, first hand experience in the industries we serve, an intimate familiarity with the business structure, principles and priorities of the clients we serve, and an unwavering commitment to the utmost standards of professional integrity. Although travelling extensively throughout Europe and the US, Thomas resides in Bad Homburg, a suburb of Frankfurt, Germany, where he also manages our local office. When not busy at work in the office, Thomas enjoys outdoor sports and travel.
