Doug StippleDoug Welsh joins TransAdvantage with an extensive and impressive background in executive sales management and business development in the global Fortune 500 environment in which he has developed a unique methodology to align sales organizations with corporate growth goals. Within the TA team, he supervises and coordinates all our consulting and support activities to help our clients to increase the efficacy of their sales organizations, review and adjust their channel strategies, their approach to the customer and the structure of support resources. He develops principle strategies and conducts highly engaged direct training and education sessions – either on a one-on-one basis or for entire sales teams.
 
Upon his university graduation, Doug started his career as National Account Manager in the entrepreneurial environment of specialized service provider Imagematrix , a multi-regional visual/creative services company specializing in business, training and financial presentations, new product introductions and electronic presentations & conferences. He proceeded in a similar role with Comware, Inc., focusing on technical computer services and specializing in training, technical documentation and presentations for hardware manufacturers and software developers. Subsequently, he succumbed to the allure of the large corporation, joining NCR Corp. where he rose to Executive Account Manager in charge of new business development for high-speed print, distribution and data storage outsourcing services. To further focus his growing passion for Human Resource Management issues, he joined ADP, Inc., the world’s largest provider of human resource, payroll and benefits administration outsourcing services, initially as Executive National Sales Manager for new business development for the Fortune 300 U.S.-based companies, and ultimately rising to Global Sales Manager for international markets, where he had responsibility for the company’s extensive global outsourcing services for very large companies seeking a single source, global payroll and human resources solution.
 
Now in his late fifties, Doug elected to trade the corporate environment of constant time-zone changes for the luxury of a more balanced family life and the pursuit of other personal and charitable interest, while joining TA to make his vast expertise available to our clients. He continues to be engaged as a motivational speaker and is an executive board member of the Next Generation Institute with The Goering Center at the University of Cincinnati OH. In addition, he serves on numerous boards , primarily of medium sized, privately held companies.
 
Doug’s major contribution to our client’s organizational development can be summed up in his principle mantra: Helping people gain clarity and focus through periods of growth, change and transition.
